Amberley Gardens Open on 14th June 2020

Join us for our biennial Gardens Open Event on Sunday 14th June 2020

Residents in the picturesque village of Amberley, West Sussex are busily tending their gardens in preparation for the biennial Gardens Open event which will raise funds for charity.

This wonderful community event has been running for 30 years and you will see around 18 beautiful gardens open to the public as well as the even popular plant stall, tombola, ploughman's lunch and village cream teas and the raffle includes a magnificent designer hand made quilt.

Jacqui Feakins and Suzie Coates, co-chairmen of the Amberley committee who are organisting Gardens Open said ‘This event is hugely enjoyable and its success depends on very many people being involved in helping. The community really pulls together whether it’s baking cakes, selling plants, marshaling cars or opening a garden, it makes a day to remember'.

The 2018 Gardens Open broke all records and raised £15,000 for charity.  Come and join us this year.  Further details will be available shortly.
